As you are aware, thoughts of revival are swimming in my head (and hopefully yours, too!). I am wondering just what the Lord will need to do to bring us to revival and what He will do through us afterward. I know that He will bring revival as we listen to and obey His Word. C.H. Spurgeon, the great English preacher of yesteryear, said, "If revival is confined to living men we may further notice that it must result from the proclamation and the receiving of living truth." (Read the rest of Spurgeon's article on "What Is Revival?") Let me encourage you to be reading your Bible, allowing the Spirit of God to speak to your heart.

Our theme in 2012 is based on David's prayer asking God to "Renew a Right Spirit Within Me." Let's plead with the Lord that He will bring revival and renewal to our church, our families, our community, and our nation!
